Job Responsibilities
– Establish and update direction for the legal function and ensure alignment with business
strategy
– Be a Company representative to work with Court or relevant entities for any legal dispute such
as tax department, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders
– Manage legal Licenses
– Produce, maintain, and update all the standard company guidelines procedures, and
agreements.
– Monitor, initiate, and maintain the legal system and other relevant tasks
– Lead contract management system and file keeping both soft and hard copy
– Manage contracts and agreements for the whole company – review, and comment on all kinds
of contracts and keep the contract and manage its renewal or termination
– Negotiate the contract with relevant stakeholders
– Develop the guidelines, processes, and templates and monitor the implementation
– Provide legal and compliance consultation, work as part of cross‐functional teams on projects
and initiatives and provide legal guidelines as required
– Provide proactive legal guidance, advice and assist in problem‐resolution on a timely basis on
various laws applicable to the organization and other issues which may arise
– Develop guidelines for undertaking services of advocates and other legal services; monitor
and review the quality and cost of services provided by third‐party counsel for the area of
practice and take steps to optimize these costs
– Develop relationships with Government, regulators, legislators, opinion leaders, and media
that may influence the Business operation
– Other tasks assigned by the relevant Senior Management
Requirement
– Bachelor’s degree /master’s degree of Law or Certified Lawyer
– At least 5 years’ experience in the legal field
– Good command of oral with written English and Chinese is preferable
– Ability to identify and analyze complex issues/problems in management areas, and
recommend and implement solutions
– Ability to manage the management office functions economically and efficiently, maintain
good interpersonal relations and communication with lawyers and support team
– Has the ability to evaluate and weigh all legal aspects/situations, be able to provide sound
solutions, ultimate aim protecting legal rights the organization
– Computer skill, problem‐solving and critical decision making
– Good interpersonal skills, able to interact with people at all levels
– Good in communication and ethical behavior
