Job Description

  • Major tasks and responsibilities of position
  • Build and manage the department to identify the growth areas for your direct reports and
    provide guidance for them to achieve the objectives
  • Develops and implements best practice logistics principle, and efficient operation plans
  • Plan, manage operations to deliver appropriate solutions
  • Ensure to monitor quality, quantity, delivery time and transport costs
    Control expense reports for logistics activities, clarify kinds of expenses, and analyze for their
    accuracy and to have right decisions
  • Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance
  • Reviews all error investigation reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Physically check the warehouses, its facilities, methods in loading & unloading goods
  • Analyze reports and check on stock problems and to verify goods lost in value and use value to
    give proper solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connections (customs officer, customers …
    etc.) and handle problem calls
  • Organize communication system and control the use of information system of subordinate in
    compliance with the confidentiality rules

  • Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Saturday – 8:00am to 12:00pm (half day)

Job Requirements

  •  Education: Master or Bachelor degree in a business Administration, economic and other relevant
    field
  • At least 5 years of experiences in freight forwarding operations or in a similar role
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and other languages valued
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS office, internet and email
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Others:
  • Demonstrable business ethics and deep understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to multi-tasking and strong personnel management skill
  • Delegate routine tasks or move people around in order to transfer skills/development
    opportunities
  • Passion in building and managing team
