Job Description

  • Major tasks and responsibilities of position
  • Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is
    accomplished in a manner consistent with internal requirements
  • Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles
  • Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning
  • Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints
  • Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements
  • Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories
  • Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement
    policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
  • Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets
  • Direct activities of staff performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and
  • Developing transportation relationships, monitoring transport costs
  • Conduct investigations in cooperation with government agencies to determine causes of
    transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures
  • Supervise workers assigning tariff classifications and preparing billing


  • Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Saturday – 8:00am to 12:00pm (half day)
  • Lunch time – 12:00pm to 1:00pm
  • Basic salary (negotiation)

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor degree in a business Administration, economic and other relevant field
  • At least 3 or 4 years of transportation/trucking experiences or in a similar role
  • Proven experience in interacting, negotiating, and building relationships with drivers
  • Highly confident, and able to communicate convincingly
  • English Proficiency: Good, able to communicate in English
  • Computer literacy in MS. Office, Internet and Email
  • Others:
  • Demonstrable business ethics and deep understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to multi-tasking and strong personnel management skill
  • Comfortable working in a demanding matrix environment
  • Self-starting with a proactive, can-do attitude
